Ie learning

So far so good... Enjoying my time helping and learning from fellow teachers. Today we're setting up a blogs on blogger so that students can share their experiences gained from reading. At first we thought a wiki would be a good venue for this but decided on blogs because each student will be reading different books.

I think wiki's are better for discussion on a shared topic whereas blogs are better for sharing personalized experiences.

This was my favourite book when I was a kid...

A New York kid runs away from home to live in the the Catskill Mountains. And... He makes friends with a squirrel and lives in a dead tree stump. Kinda mirrors my life here in Australia...
